The Ghost of Captain Maria Slither

Maria Slither was a strong and fierce female pirate captain of a crew of mainly men who she put to shame with her feats and authority. Unlike most pirates, Maria craved not treasure but power, in that she wanted allies more stronger than her crew. Upon discovering an ancient temple in the murky seas, her crew discovered an ancient trident similar to the one of the ocean god Poseidon, which has the ability to control all sea monsters of the deep. Striving for sea monsters as her new allies, Maria stole the trident despite her crew's objections and summoned sea monsters such as sharks, eels, a kelp monster and a Kraken, which obliterated her entire crew. But she was unfortunately taken down with her former crew and drowned but the sea monsters under her control gave her new life as a half fish pirate ghost who haunts the open waters as The Queen of the Sea Beasts!
