Alanah Pearce was streaming to her audience as usual when she suddenly stopped, her Earpods beeping and flashing - just like everyone who was watching. She stared forwards blankly as the Download began and Cybus took control of her brain, placing it in an blank, emotionless state, suppressing all thoughts and free will as information streams in. For now, this is all that will enter - but soon, the Earpods will take full control permanently. They will command her to march through the streets to the nearest Cybus factory and she will obey without hesitation, her brain programmed by years of Cybus use to accept without resistance. But not today, where she laughs in sync with everyone else before carrying on as normal, completely unaware of what the future holds, of how little time she has left before she is upgraded.
