Red carpet events were a regular occasion for Alexandra Daddario - she was more than used to stopping and posing for the cameras, her Earpods glinting in the flashes. Suddenly, a two tone sound plays and Alexandra, along with everyone else, stops as Cybus takes over and the download begins. Everyone is completely still and silent, the only noise the beeping of their Earpods. Alexandra stands there, staring forwards, her mind completely blank as information is streamed from the Cybusnet through her Earpods straight into her brain - news, sport, weather, anything she could want or need is downloaded directly in without resistance, her mind completely accepting of Cybus. A joke is downloaded and laughter rings out, and everyone begins to move again as the download ends. Alexandra smiles, happy to have let Cybus in, all those downloads having conditioned her to be happy to let them take control whenever. Soon, they'll take full control, and Alexandra will never have to feel happy, or anything else, ever again.
