Cybus Industries' Earpods took the World by storm, a convenient device that could download all the information you would ever need directly into your brain, whilst also acting as a communications device. Phones quickly became obsolete, as everyone began using the Earpods.

Actress Sydney Sweeney was no different, getting a pair like everyone else, always keeping them plugged into her ears. She never missed a daily download, and always came to a stop every morning as it began, allowing Cybus access to her mind as she stood blank and emotionless as the information streamed in. Little did she know, like everyone else, that with every download Cybus made her more receptive to their control and commands, preparing her for the Ultimate Upgrade, Cybus's endgame for humanity. She never noticed how she would promote for Cybus for much less than other companies, or how she wuld always recommend the Earpods to the few people she knew that refused to upgrade from their phones. She simply continued unaware of the future that faced her and all other Earpod users.

Soon, the Ultimate Upgrade will begin. Sydney's Earpods will activate and take full control of her brain. Instructions and directions will download into her head, and she will turn and march to Cybus, like everyone else. She will walk to receive her upgrade; her brain removed and placed into a cold metal shell, a Cyberman always loyal and obedient to Cybus. She will let this all happen without fear or resistance, all actions except obedience blocked by the Earpods. She will join the next phase of humanity, and help upgrade those that remain.
