Description
Support me @ Patreon.I've had this for a while in my head - Mercer working in SCP Foundation... That could be a great idea for a crossover comic project, yet I'm not sure I can do it alone. If there is some interest, and some people willing to collaborate (related-subjects-savvy)... We'll see.
This joke just got a lot worse XDΒ

i think one particular scp might catch mercer's interest. scp 682 the hard to destroy reptile has the ability to regenerate and adapt, so long as 1% of its body remains intact, if mercer can replicates its ability, then mercer will be even more op then normal!

682 is too mainstream come on, there are plenty of awesome objects a real scientist without moral and ethical restrictions could fuck with
yeah, so they just find out 682 is missing one day. not escaped, but missing. and Mercer being surprisingly self-satisfied

yeah 682 is kinda used, but considering that somehow it ALWAYS survives, mercer would probably be killed considering all the ass-pulls 682 can well pull, the only gripe i have is that we have SCIENTIST DOUCHE mercer, but then again so are all the gentek scientists, so mehΒ

I believe in Mercer's intellectual superiority at least that would be quite challenging.
oh well unless he wants to end with a personal number, he has to use his scientific background to get there.

its just seems odd mercer goes from p1 ending "alex mercer...this city suffered for his mistakes, for what he did at penn station" to p2 "im giving it (humanity) a second chance! i have no doubt mercer is a smart dood, i mean he was the head of blacklight and made the virus deadly by a factor of 10 and he ate a bunch of other scientists afterword so that probably rased his i.q. points quite a bit, i guess im saying i dislike his persona of scientist mercer, but not his intelligence, he can be quite crafty and considering scp i guess he has to undergo his scientist persona in order to get into the foundation and then eat his way up the scp food-chain

yeah even alex says in p1 "what alex mercer did at penn station was unforgivabe" and yet in p2 it felt like reverted back to his old pre-virus self when it felt like after p1 he had an idenity crisis but would proabably stay away from his scientist-self...yeah im going to stop thinking about it, too much of a headache, btw who is mercer going to pissoff next in your ME comic, javic?, legion? grunt? liara?

CyberII In reply to Zeus007 [2015-08-01 05:53:15 +0000 UTC]
I still tend to separate his scientific pre-infection and 'wesker' p2 personalities... Although yes, it feels like a step back to his former self. as a psychiatrist I can perfectly explain it, but it would be long. Let's say, the sudden catch of the 'moralism virus' in p1 puzzles me way more... explainable too, though. And glad it was a rather moderate case of moralism XD so, uhm, I guess I'm okay with all of his sides, while being a highly intelligent paranoid misanthropic sociopath myself (before it became popular XD)
Yeah, I'm about to draw Javik strip. I guess nothing could piss Legion off though - not that I could think of one reason Mercer would have an urge to give him such treatment... And pissing Liara off is like stealing a candy from a kid - too easy... but she irritates me, that's why I'm up to come up with some sick burn for her

The moralism in p1 is iffy but i always thought he saved new-york so it wouldnt suffer the same fate as hope, he even tells general randal that he wouldnt let him erase new york like he did with hope, and after eating him he even says he (randal) knew the outbreak would happen, that he could have stoped all of this but he let it happen anyway...and that the p2 premise would have mercer continue to hunt down blackwatch soldiers like randal as his usual anti-hero self from p1 but slightly more heroic byt still bloody violent...which sadly does not happen in p2...on a sidenote cant wait for javic, as for legion he could be mercer's wingman or "burn"man in this case...mmm wesker... now i wanna see a showdown between wesker and mercer in your art sytle!!!

yeah, he saved New York while slaughtering 3/4 of its population singlehandedly
My name is Alex Mercer, and this is my favorite geth in this Galaxy.
Fuck biology, biology is stagnant. My next identity gets a degree in robotic science.
Although, wouldn't HK-47 fit even better?
ooh, that would be... well... epic. or not.

technically 3/4th of the population were infected into red-light zombies but i get the point lol, i think there's a starwars prototype crossover regardng hk-47...now i gotta go read that...

well, I'd say the character is just too cool for his sandbox - he grew out of it and asks for something global. I'm crossovering him all the way as well - when not making fun of game mechanics in the one-panels

Would Mercer have his virus powers in this? Cause it'd be sweet to see him fuck with 682 with them XD

CyberII In reply to Android3000 [2015-08-01 04:24:34 +0000 UTC]
yeah, since it's the only reason he seems fit for the job... if he's not planning to be pushing papers there quietly, which is probably not, knowing him. although he needs to keep his secret to himself, at least at the beginning, if he doesn't want to end as one of the 'collection'. That's a bit tricky, I haven't thought it over. SCP Foundation doesn't seem a type of organization you just apply for a job @ Craigslist
hmm, I dunno if 682 is his type, but after Karen... I guess even 682 will do
