- About This Artwork -This is my third digital artwork and thus far was the most difficult for me to create. All of the textures I created myself from scratch and the cat in the foreground was drawn completely with my computer mouse. How ironic. A mouse draws a cat.
I manipulated these three photos to create parts of this artwork:

Yeah, Paint.NET is a really good program, but it's no comparison to Photoshop, at least, it won't be for awhile.

nice idea actually, i like the table and the bear, i think you need to practise on realism and trying to not use filters, but your almost there! (:

I always try to look for ways to improve, I even consider myself a bit of a perfectionist, but I wanted to make sure that I didn't miss out on this contest and lose the 6 days worth of work because I was too busy fine-tuning. 
Not to say the artwork isn't complete. But with an additional day or two, I probably would have adjusted this and adjusted that just because that's what I do.
Wait a minute. "Table"? "Bear"? You and some of my family members....

The wood floor texture was kind of an accident. I was just experimenting with some effects and combined a few and...it all came together.
Aside from the fur, also created through experimentation, the eyes were the second hardest to do.

I did try to make the strawberry a bit more round like an apple while still maintaining the strawberry texture, but perhaps I warped it too much? 
Well anyway, I think that they're quite alright and I hope the judges notice them.

Ah, if only the Kitty Clock were real, then maybe I could have just placed it on an actual wood floor and be done with it. But no, it had to be all digital.

It's on the picture of the tree (top-left). I manipulated the strawberries slightly so that they would look more rounded.
