Remember the first Action Anime Sally Acorn I've drawn? [link]Three and a half years later I've decided to compare my skills and make a new one. I'm not a magician when it comes to guns, but it turned out better than any other gun I made without reference.
Special Agent Sally, leader of the Freedom Fighter Squad, encountered the evil doctor and managed to stop him before Sonic could. They want him alive, so she shot down one of the engines of the Egg Mobile. Let's just hope he doesn't get barbequed in that thing!

I'm no good a critics but just seeing this, whatever you done you pulled it off rather well. I can't help but seriously feel a '90s style anime vibe going on and the small dialog behind the pic had me thinking something from old school beat'em ups like Final Fight and such.
All and all, its just that fan-flippn'-tastic

Aaaawesome! It's too bad Sonic X didn't turn out to be this kind of anime! Nice to see Sally beating Sonic of all people to the punch...but that's a good point you raise about Robotnik. Funny how his machines exploding in his face never seem to bother him...
You did a good job with the gun even though we don't see the whole thing. Sally's clothes are cool too, though the "FF" belt buckle may be a little too cartoony even for a talking animal...Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if I saw an anime character wearing such a thing given Japanese media's frequent use of English as a novelty. Speaking of anime trends, this whole picture feels a lot like a 90's anime just making it into America. Gotta love that vintage feel!
Your coloring techniques for the characters and background are done well, but they clash rather noticeably with one being digital and the other being hand-made. Another thing I'd say can be improved in the future is Sally's neck. Right now, it looks too long and skinny. These are just critiques that can hopefully help you in the future. Feel free to ignore them if you disagree with them.
