Description
One of Nickelodeon's greatest icons, Spongebob Squarepants made various entries in the videogame world, some games actually being okay-ish.

A naive, optimistic resident of the underwater city of Bikini Bottom. He endured various obstacles with an ignorant smile and tries to bring happiness to everyone he meets as far as he can, including ones that don't want it. Though he lacks strength and driving skills to the extreme, he has been dubbed a legend in both the kitchen of the Krusty Krab and Jellyfish Fields.

Moves:

B: Bubble Stream:
A continuous flow of bubbles are blown, slowly losing range, similar to Bowser's Breath. Bubbles automatically float upwards, but can be aimed.

Side-B: Bubble Torpedo:
Blows a bubble in the shape of a torpedo. This works exactly like Snake's Nikita, but instead of an explosion, a cloud of bubbles appear, making it non-fire.

Up-B: Jelly Steps:
3 Jellyfishes appear to form a 3-stepped staircase. Spongebob tiptoes on the first two, bouncing up from the third. Jellyfish fall down when Spongebob sets off of them, causing electrical damage to anyone they hit. Spongebob wears his square glasses when he performs this move.

Down-B: Bubble Bomb:
Blows a bubble in he shape of a bomb. Similar to Link's Bomb, but creates a cloud of bubbles instead of an explosion, making it non-fire. Bubble Bombs are light, so they can travel a greater height and/or distance when thrown.

Final Smash: Super Sponge:
Similar to Jigglypuff's Puff Up, Spongebob grows and grows, pushing others off the stage. He'll do his famous laugh at his peak point.

Taunt 1: Puts on his Krusty Krab hat, hold a spatula with a Patty on top straight folward and cries "Order up!"
Taunt 2: Faces the camera and laughs.
Taunt 3: Dries up, gasps for air (or in this case water) and remoisturizes. (Refers to the Treedome episode)

Intro: Falls as a realistic sponge onto stage, quickly turning into Spongebob.

Stats: Spongebob is really weak using his bare fists and relies on his smashes, including Spatula (side), Jellyfish-net (up) and Gary (down, he chucks his pet snail a short distance, making him crawl mindlessly for a short time and disappear. Gary can't be used when Gary is on the field). His jumps makes up for his lacking physical strength and average speed. His arms twist around him like a propellor in his second jump.
Spongebob uses his face to perform walljumps similar to his walljump in Battle for Bikinibottom.
