Description
Happy Valentines Day!I've been getting into the web animation series, RWBY, and eventually had to do this chart. I got the images from the RWBY wiki, so kudos to them. On my last few alignment charts I didn't give reasons for putting who where, but now I'll try to pick up that habit;
Lawful Good: Weiss seemed like a good fit. She's the most straight-laced out of the team, and tries to be the voice of reason whenever they get quirky. When the rest were ready to go after Torchwick at the beginning of Volume 2, she's all, "Wait, we're students. Are we really ready for this?" before giving in.
Neutral Good: Ruby is this to a tee. She wants to do the right thing, and is mostly lawful, but also willing to go the wild route to get things done, such as taking on Torchwick and his goons in the first episode.
Chaotic Good: Yang, full stop. She's a good girl, but also seems to have a 'Screw collateral damage' approach to her life.
Lawful Neutral: The robots guarding the train in the Black Trailer. Yeah, they're working for a company that may not be all that great, but they're just machines, doing what they've been programmed to do.
True Neutral" Lisa Lavender the anchorwoman, who only shows up to exposit events.
Chaotic Neutral: While the Grimm are touted as the main monsters of the series, they really have no loyalty to anyone- All are a potential target to the Grimm.
Lawful Evil: Adam has no problem killing, stealing, and destroying what he wants to get things done, but seems to be under the impression that what he's doing will create a new order. After Heroes and Monsters, I'm starting to see him as a Revenge of the Sith-era Vader character.
Neutral Evil: Cinder seems to have no real motivations, save building up her own power. Everything else is nothing to her.
Chaotic Evil: Torchwick the crime lord loves causing trouble, and has no real loyalty to the bad guys beyond "If I don't they'll kill me" which made him the perfect fit for the Chaotic Evil spot.
Sorry about the MADE WITH PAINT X LITE at the bottom. RWBY is owned by Rooster Teeth.

"Cinder seems to have no real motivations, save building up her own power."
Have you even listened to Sacrifice?

I think that's Salem's song. Anyway, "Destroy everything" isn't much of a goal in my book.

Sacrifice is for Cinder, and they both have the same motives. And their goal isn't "destroy everything", it's "Liberate remnant from Ozpin's secret tyranny"

What evidence do we have that Ozpin is a tyrant?

Have you been watching V5? Censoring human history? Lying to the whole planet? Tricking youth into throwing their lives away for a cause they don't even know exists?
Also, it doesn't matter what you or I think, it's about what Cinder thinks. And what Cinder thinks is that Ozpin is awful for Remnant and she is in the right in defeating him at any cost.

Kindly be more specific.
I'm willing to consider your point of view, but at present, I don't know half of what your talking about. Also what makes you trust Cinder?

Just read Cinder 101:Β pastebin.com/suNZXzxP
"she killed muh waifu" isn't really an argument as to the motives of a character. antagonists are supposed to hurt protagonists, it's part of their job in the story

Circumstantial interpretive evidence. Compered to what's happened canonically, irrelevant. Give me something I can agree to without heavy bias.
Also, mocking me definitely makes me less interested in your viewpoint, so maybe don't.

The only "bias" is towards what the character believes. That is what the image song is, a look into what they believe. That is the topic of the argument.

NiceΒ
I wouldn't entirely agree (since my chart is a bit different), but these things take a bit of poetic license to get every space filled well.Β
And Grimm could be seen as neutral or evil.Β

It's eerie.Β We share a lot of similarities in our choices, especially the good ones, which match perfectly.
I really should revamp my evil's and neutral's, however.Β I totally misjudged Adam.

The Grimm are chaotic evil, but aside from that you nailed this. For chaotic neutral I'd use Junior instead
