Description Just another alignment chart, this one starring the Ratchet and Clank series by Insomniac Games

Lawful Good: It's pretty obvious Clank fits this, as he's usually the one who tries to reign in Ratchet's less rational actions, as well as worrying about things his partner shrugs off. This exchange from All 4 One: "Ratchet, you cannot pilot a weaponized drone into Luminopolis!" "Aw, I pilot weaponized drones into Luminopolis once a week."

Neutral Good: I was originally going to put Ratchet in the chaotic, but realized that while he is a bit of a wild child, he's also willing to work with the government, such as his stint as a galactic ranger in UYA and Deadlocked.

Chaotic Good: Talwyn Apogee seemed as good a fit as any, given her adventurous lifestyle. I dunno.

Lawful Neutral: You know, for a moment I was going to use Orvus from A Crack In Time, but after some thought I went with Lawrence instead, maybe it's his utter lack of concern for anything besides his own duties. While it's obvious he doesn't think too much of Dr. Nefarious' plans, he doesn't show the wherewithal to do anything about it.

True Neutral: The Plumber, who treads around the fourth wall, seemed like the obvious choice.

Chaotic Neutral: While Captain Qwark is now on the side of good, he started out as a villain. I wasn't sure where to put him until I came across his official bio on the official RaC site, on how Qwark's need for attention causes him to reinvent himself.

Lawful Evil: Emperor Percival Tachyon was perfect for this, I thought.

Neutral Evil: Given how Drek from the first game doesn't care about anything but lining his pockets, Neutral was where he stood on the evil line.

Chaotic Evil: Oh yeah. You don't get much more chaotic than Dr. Nefarious.

Funny, they changed his goals in the movie, I guess it's because the greedy businessman thing's been done to death.  Honestly, the building a planet out of the ideal parts of other for his species was a bit more interesting.

I love the "unnecessarily evil" comment.  Because it reminds you that evil doesn't always need a logical motive.

The Ratchet and Clank series are not a complex thing so I think that overthinking about the moral compasses of cartoonish and marketing characters is not good for the brain.

You're right. I did that with some of my characters before. Though most of them are short and sweet. Good, neutral, and bad.

You got the villians spot on. I say most of it is spot on.
Together I would say their over all morality would be Nuetral Moral, if we're going for the 5 by 5 chart. I mean, they usually do honest mercenary work for a legitimate government or corporation, and they usually have respect for law in the process. So that much would be nuetral leaning lawful. BUT they cause so much destruction-not a lot of casualties but a lot of property damage. That much is chaotic.
They would definately be a force for good. But what stops them from being completely good would be SO MUCH DESTRUCTION. They have less innocent blood on their hands than Jak and Daxter (accidents) but have more financial destruction on their hands.

Yeah, I kind of went away with the "alignment system" B.S. when editing some of my posts, I figured making them plain and simple would be easier for young audiences to understand

I'll admit, I ratchet and talwyn should be switched, but everything else is spot on in my opinion. My reasoning is that ratchet and clank were designed as contrasting characters, in fact, in the recent title, into the nexus, clank was referred to as ratchet's "adorable little foil" , which, a foil is a contrasting character, not to mention, ratchet is frequently blowing things up. as for talwyn, she may be a bit chaotic, but she seems less wild than ratchet in my opinion, and if I may once again reference "into the nexus", she is currently part of the Polaris defense force.
