Description
Felt really inspired this past week to create some creatures and I really fell in love with this guy. They were obviously (maybe) inspired by manticores, a lion body with a human face and sometimes a scorpion tail. I wanted to change them up a bit though so I added some avian features and horns/antlers.

About them as a species- they are highly intelligent and have complex societies and a spoken language. Their demeanor is generally calm and peaceful, but they have a reputation for being fearsome protectors. They have been known to jealously guard over temples or hoards of trinkets they have collected. They also make loyal companions to those they deem worthy. It has been noted that they have an affinity for music, which can often be used to calm them.

Depending on what area they live in they can have different bodytypes and fur thickness, but they are generally pretty lean and streamlined. They do have five "fingers" on their front limbs, including a somewhat opposable thumb that allows them to hold and manipulate objects, though they are not very dexterous.

I think thats all for now! They are a closed species for now, and for my own use and creation but I may make some adoptable designs at some point if anyone was interested.
