Haato lives with her twin sister Haachama near Aogami City, spending most of her days shopping and hanging out with her friends. While her sister is considered to be offputting or even dangerous, Haato is a popular heartthrob that earns the attention of her seniors despite (or perhaps because of...?) her bad attitude - apparently some folks are into that kind of thing... She's prickly, rude and fairly self-centred, but it's nothing all that serious in her mind; Haato's greatest flaw is her absolute fear of being ashamed, so she can only express affection if her gestures are wreathed in protective barbs.

When Blaze arrives in Reine's dimension to take on one of the Plasmagic Siphons, she runs into Haato travelling in her sister, which greatly shocks Aki considering neither are native to this world. When asked, Haato grumpily explains that her sister took them here to 'gather ingredients' for cooking but ran off, leaving her stranded in an unfamiliar place that is apparently located in another dimension. At the behest of Aki, Blaze sets off in search of Haachama and the Plasmagic Siphon.

Trivia:
- Haato met Aki at a shopping mall, perplexed by her weird clothes and trying to stay in the know about any trends she'd yet to catch on to. She ended up showing Aki around and the two became friends over cakes at a bakery.

- Despite what some might think, Haato loves her sister more than anything and is troubled at the thought they might be drifting apart.

Haachama is Haato's eccentric twin sister, always the one to go against the crowd rather than surf atop its wave. She dresses in relatively elaborate and outlandish clothing no matter the weather and practices several hobbies such as cooking (though what she makes might be more accurately classified as biohazards...), observing bugs and - as of recently - collecting gemstones. Her head is seemingly always in the clouds and you're never quite sure what she's going to do next, that unpredictable behaviour and her near-constant smiling being the reason many write her off as a creep. Haato, however, has nothing but fond memories of herself and Haachama playing together to remind her that her sister is still a sweet girl who just wants to live by her own rules.

However, carefree or not, Haachama's latest stunt raises some questions. The two sisters, on a hunt for cooking ingredients, apparently found themselves in an entire other dimension and Haachama, distracted by the glint of shiny stones, has run off and left Haato in the dust. Unbeknownst to Haato, Blaze and Aki, she's gotten on the wrong side of Princess Reine who's been corrupted by errant Plasmagic, which has led to Haachama being captured.

Trivia:
- Haato and Haachama's species were initially a simple nod to their idol counterpart's connection to Australia, but koalas are also known for their incredibly unhealthy diets of substances that are not meant for their consumption... Sound familiar?

- Haachama's first time meeting Aki was when she came to visit her house along with Haato. She left some ingredients from other worlds behind, which Haachama used to make some dishes that were truly beyond comprehension.
