nice colors. i'm sure this is your style, but if ur gonna go for that watercolor feel, it might be better to bring that consistancy to the line art too. that way the line art won't be so predominant and things may mesh better. it also might benefit from more contrasting lights and darks. then again, that's strictly a stylistic choice. i like what you've done with it so far though (inspite of all your hardship).
