Description
I have started a flash class a few weeks ago for school and I'm loving it ^_^ !!!! this was just for practice in-between assignments. Our teacher hasn't officially given us an assignment for anything animated just yet. Just allot of designing and drawing to get use to flash. Because of that I got a little eager to animate and did this. However their are a few places I could add more frames and improve the animation but now I'm ready to move on.....Anyways I hope that you enjoy !!Drawn and animated in flash 5 and 4 with an wacom indous 3. It took a couple of days at the most I'm not quite sure but at most that.
Plz, Plz, don't use without permission.

Just to add to what ~Dahakka said about keyframing, you need to utilise your basic shapes a little more so you don't get inconsistencies from frame to frame. In particular the head of the creature, even when in the same position, is changing volume a few times- that shouldn't happen.
See about doing exercises with really simple shapes so that you can really nail volume control (hence the common ball bounce, but you might want to go further and do animal actions with simple bean-like bodies, stick wings etc, gradually adding on more detail to work with as you progress)- then you can worry about things such as inbetweening, easing and such. Keep at it!

Thanks for the advice, I only seem to have this problem in flash. Maybe since I'm not use to drawing it? may not but I certainly will practice it and I will keep at it !!!!

Ah, Flash. Yeah the lines can be -really awkward- D: The consistencies can be really weird.
It just takes a bit of playing around with the Smoothing. Some people set the Smoothing to low and zoom in on the lines to make nice bubbly ones that are more organic. I'd recommend doing the cleanup with the pencil tool before lineart, because it's clear-cut (whereas the brush tool lines fluctuate insanely, meaning the volumes can be distorted if you're basing the lineart off the brush lines D8)
I won't lie, Flash is a good animation tool, but it is a pain in the arse xD;

Hm, I'm not sure. I think it's similar, but I only used Illustrator ages ago in college so my memory's a little foggy xD;

very nice for just beginning to use flash, your colouring is very pleasing to look at but first you should think more about your keyframes (keyframes as in what you inbetween from not keyframes in flash) and how far you are pushing them. inbetweening isnt that important, once you get your keyframes down good and strong the rest is downhill. keep it up.
