Ahh, does anyone remember what I like to call Spyro Mary Sues? The people who pretty much just took Cynder, or in some cases Spyro, and slapped brightly colored(or black) messes on them, gave em a stupid hair tuff and some tragic back story?
I've seen em everywhere. And I, unfortunately, had joined that crowd at some point. Unlike those peeps though, I was aware the characters I was making were considered mary-sueing in appearance, but I wrote some of mine at least not a sob BG story... xP still, very mary-sueish ocs, like my Violet, Luna, Sharley, Jordan, egt. Those were pretty much rip-offs of the popular Spyro-sues because I knew at the time it would be impossible to really get on me, because there are 500 Luna, Sharleys and Violets

Anyways, at some points I developed Violet/Sharley(?) into her own character of sorts. I lost her reference for when she'll appear in my Spyro comic, but until then enjoy some of these remakes~!

I should explain:
*The Violet universe takes place sometime in the distant future, Spyro and Cynder long dead. Violet is the descendant of them. The universe is not really as broken up as it was in TLOS, but its close to being considered post-apocalyptic from some traumatic issue that caused another mass-extinction of the dragons(again). Malefors descendants are trying to take over, yada yada yada

Convexis was a descendant of Malefor, and somehow also Cynder. She was the half sister of Jordan, and was technically a princess, as her mother was queen. I'm not sure at the time, because I was vague, but she might've actually been the unwanted rape-child of a hostage queen and Malefors grand something, because her mother sure as heck didn't want her, and was held hostage.
OOPS
Anyways, Convexis tries to fit in with the other younglings, but is a clutz. Many don't like her because she's the decendant of a evil dude, she didn't know this.
SOMEHOW.
Anyways, on day, she screws up big time and embarrasses Violet who snaps at her. She throws and emo fit and runs off into the forest and joins the dark side.
I just realized this universe had murder, rape, and some weird incest over-tones. Which is odd, considering I wasn't into dark stuff back then, as far as story-telling goes.
Would make it interesting though. Convexis is technically rare with her fury-breath, but she is a sub-purple dragon. Not exactly purple, but rare enough to be noticed.

If you wanna look at the old 'violet' stuff, just type that in in my gallery and prepare for cringe.
