"Many years ago when I was 8, I created my first character ever and it was a Sonic oc. I named her Cynga and over time, she became her own character unrelated to Sonic.

Today I have decided to bring her back to her origins and redesign her back into a Sonic OC.

A LOT has changed about her and I even have lore and a home for her!"

Here she is, my first and only Sonic oc I have ever created. She has been reborn with a fresh design, lore, and a basic personality (That part is still a WIP).

She does NOT interact with canon due to how she was intentionally written.
She was written in a way that makes it nearly impossible for her to interact with canon since it would ruin the entire foundation lore which is established for her town.

Other information: Cynga was my first and only Sonic oc I ever created. I created her back when I was around 8-10 years old and her original incarnation was...pretty bad... She was a quadrupedal wolf/dragon...thing with Mary Sue abilities. She also had this god awful biohazard shade of green eyes. Her design was basically... Take a regular wolf, squish it's body short, make the tail ungodly large, add dragon wings, give it a lion's mane, and replace the head with a sonic style head with biohazard eyes and you got....Her original god awful incarnation. She was as unoriginal and irritatingly Mary Sue as she could get and like any other predictable first time oc creator, I shipped her with canon. You are all so lucky I was too young to join DeviantArt back then... DEAR LORD.... I was barely in that phase by the time I joined DA. That's why there are so few drawings of Sonic Cynga.

Her revamp still kept some of those old traits but they are actually implemented in a FAR more creative way. I made her bipedal, though she still has digitigrade legs and still runs on all fours but walks on two feet. I decided to do a callback to her dragon traits and made her obsessed with dragons rather than literally being part dragon. She develops a lot of dragon based machinery and her wings are now purely mechanical. Another callback to her original incarnation is her intellect and deep interest in mechanics. When I first created her, I associated her with Tails since he was (and still is) my favorite character. So in honor of that, I gave her a few of his traits with the expression of said traits differing.

Other fun facts: Her name is Based on Cynder from The Legend of Spyro trilogy. That is why the beginning of her name is "Cyn" and the "ga" part of it was just random and added because it sounded good to me.

Her last name is a reference to my misinterpretation of Tails' Last name as I always thought "Prower" was referring to "Prowler" like a wild animal (since Tails is a fox). But apparently "Prower" seems to be a reference to "per hour". I only recently discovered that.

She has come a very long way. And it's fun to see her as a Sonic character again (as well as looking at my old works) and observe how my designing and writing skills have improved since her initial creation!
I'm so pleased with the outcome of her design and I am hoping i can add more to her personality soon.
