"Hey everyone, Lauren here! So, you know how Zoey and I mentioned that we weren't exactly human? Well, I think it's time we showed you what we meant!"

"Basically, Zoey and I are part of a mystical race of human-like beings known as the Fae. There's a LOT of things I could tell you about the Fae, but....we'd be here all day if I did, so I'll just stick to the important stuff for now:"


"All Fae are capable of using elemental magic. Now, when we're not using our magic, you can't even tell we're not human. However, when we DO start using our magic, our bodies change into what we call our 'mystic forms.' Basically, our hair and eyes change colors and our ears get all pointy, but that's about it. Still, it's enough of a change to let everyone know we're Fae."

"The Fae may be a SINGLE race, but there are MULTIPLE SPECIES of Fae. For example, Zoey's from the Nymphalem species (Nymphalem are faeries, btw) while I'm from the Azephalem species (Azephalem are dullahans, but you probably figured that our by now). Oh, and each species of Fae has its own unique physical abilities and/or transformation as well, like Zoey's ability to mystically sprout faerie wings or my ability to go headless."

"Each species of Fae is connected to one of the Six Elements of Magic: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Time & Space. And you can only use magic from the element your species is connected to. For example, fairies like Zoey are connected to the element of Time, so she can use Temporal Magic. Meanwhile, dullahans like myself are connected to the element of Space, so I get to use Spatial Magic."

"Anyways, that's enough for now, I'm sure Zoey and I will explain more another time!"
