This was a cosplay for tekkoshocon 2007. It was supposed to be Sei Sakuraoka of Gantz. All in, it took almost 200 hours to make. (sewing maching died so I had to sew by hand, also engineering this was crazy!) With all the characters the series goes through, I could be anyone. What do you think?update:
I never thought a pic of my suit would be so popular! A big thanks to everyone for thier nice comments. It only encourages me to do more.
Also, Big giant squishy hugs to Gesetz for a sketch of yours truley ( I am super honoured, you have no idea) and Gantzcraziness for her swiggin Gantz art. (escp that one of Sei and the red one. Ah, heck, It's all smashing)

This is awesome!!!! finally i know who you are!!... hehehe... i've been looking this img on a higher res to see the details of the shoes... i'm planning on making a gantz suit... a cosplay group for Caracas Comic Con on Dec 2011 here in Venezuela!... Amazing your suit, do not know how? but I found this forum ... I'm from Colombia, and the truth ... in this haloween i want this costume, but only: neck, gloves and boots. i need your tutorial urgently, at least for the neck ... please helpme!!!!. even for the next haloween.

Well I don't really sew for others, and for a costume that is skin tight like this, I personally wouldn't recommend buying one that you cant try on.
A good part of the fun of cosplay is discovering HOW to make things and then the pride of wearing your creation around.
I think you would make an Amazing Gantzer!! I think you should go for it! This was the first thing I had sewn in a very long time but i had lots of fun making it.
Tell you what, feel free to mssge me all you want with questions if you want to try to make a suit, ok?
