Scar and Zira were only able to have one litter of Cubs before Simba returned to the pridelands. Scar’s only other cub was Mheetu, a cub only slightly older than Zira’s litter and who’s mother is Sarafina. The litter was mostly very sickly when they were born to the displeasure of Scar and worry of Zira. When Simba returned, Zira took Nuka,Adah, and Nyoka to the outlands, leaving Rukiya in the pridelands, forgotten in the panic of the attack.
Nuka was very frail and small, even smaller than his sisters. He was the third born but still smaller than is younger sister Nyoka. The small boy was jealous of everyone he could lay his little red eyes on. His sisters for being born bigger, Mheetu for being the future king and stronger, and even the Hyenas for getting more attention from Scar.
Adah is the oldest and most mature out of the siblings. She is the quiet and respectful type, not wanting to get into conflicts when not necessary. She is void of any emotion towards her parents, viewing them as flawed, but still treating them with respect.
Rukiya is the second oldest and fiercest of the siblings. She has never liked her parents, seeing the cruelty Scar dealt out and the starvation of herself and the other lioness made her despise him with a burning passion. After being left for dead during Simba’s retake of priderock, her hated for her mother grew like no other. She chose to stay with Simba and his pride, even giving herself the nickname “Ray” to remove the influence Scar and Zira had over her life. Nala found her so she could explain her situation to Simba and he welcomed her with open arms, the royal family is the only ones who know her true identity as Scar’s daughter. She grew up to be a lead lioness in hunting trips and an influential member of Simba’s pride, even training the Cubs of the royal family in combat and hunting.
Nyoka is the youngest and most loving towards her parents. She envied her father and mother’s leadership skills, even wishing to lead the outlanders one day. She’s rambunctious and hyper, being one of the most chippy among the outlanders.
