Description
This is the black and white picture I drew for my fiance, she wanted a tattoo done by me, to semi cover one already on her back, the symbolic meaning of this picture is that the dragon is the embodyment of "shirley" her nan, whom she used to jokingly call "the old dragon", the japanese symbol translates to "promise" and the scroll roughly translates to "symbol of protection" and "sancturary of the soul".On the scroll it has two names...
"Jasmin" mel's daughter whom was lost before her birth...
and
"Shirley" mel's nan who died from cancer...
In the picture the dragon is clutching two thorned roses in one claw, as it is the pain of loss and also the beautiful things which will be remembered and admired.
Once she has the tattoo done i will post a picture of it up for all to see.
this picture is the second of two, and the one she chose...
