Description The second half of my Ultramarines Tyrannic War Veterens squad, only 2 models in this squad have not been converted in any way. for the rest i used castings of the insignia from the metal minitures to apply to the plastic minis.
will supply a tutorial on how to do insignia castings soon for those interested....

for this special squad i have tried to make all the models with scars from their encounters with the tyranid battles, be it scars or bionics or claw marks on the armour.

i have enjoyed making this squad thouroughly!!

I'm doing Blood Angels veterans. No metals involved, just whatever I've got. I recommend using the Commander box as an upgrade sprue and an armory for veteran squads you make yourself.
None of my vets have the arms glued, instead I mix and match weapons and devestator weapons (since it's meant to be a veteran devestator squad, pretty strange for blood angels, heh.)
I do remember trying to make Tyranid Hunters once, but they've been rebuilt as newer models.

thats a good idea, Have you ever heard of "Rare earth Magnets"? they are small magnets which are perfect for placing in the arms and weapons of your minitures as they give you a tactical option, they are availible on ebay or from some hobby shops.
