I ditched the idea. So it says you can't use colored text in the devid. So I made my own custom box and built a new devid. Well I placed an image in the background and followed the tutorial like normal, never had an issue before after I got the hang of it. It was a dark blue book cover, and I couldn't get anything but black text to work. I don't know that I care enough to mess with it anymore. I was wondering if the colored text has an issue with dark backgrounds.

i’m Not sure quite what the problem is, does the background end in
that often means nothing but standard DeviantArt black text can be placed. If it’s not that, then I’m not sure what it could be.

The image just can't have colored text on it, which black makes it hard to see to read on navy blue. So like for example the image size is 1000 by 3000 and you don't even use that much space for the text itself.

Man these are pretty much hacky tricks... Why does DA don't give us just a CSS-Widged, then everything would be much easier and less hackable oO I've seen many hacks but the Deviantart hack are next-level shit, just using css classes from other elements.
With a CSS-Widget everything would be much simpler, I don't feel in the mood to start learning this, I'm a web-devaloper why can I not just use CSS I already know? I don't want missuse CSS-Classes from other element, which also limits my designing pretty much... I think I stay with the default design then

You're right. Now I have to learn codes instead... Do you know how hard it is for a kid to do smarty guy hacks? I have small hands! At this rate, I'll be able to hack the CIA's servers in a few days. I don't want to hack the CIA... I'm more of a Bank type kid!

Thank you so much^^ Yeah it's not everyones preference... Many people hate it, but this is normal for this type of art, I actually have some "normal"-Art, sorted into the Non-Vore Folder^^'
Its a shame that it's so tricky on deviantart to customize the Profile... Its easier to write a own web-page. And this is for Non-Web-Dev people... I don't know why Deviantart made this. I call this "hacks" because you have to abuse some stuff here on deviantart which is obsolete in HTML and even use some colour with CSS-Button-Classes... Hacks are called in Web-Dev, if it's a abuse of something, which was not intended for the use like here^^

Let’s just say you wanted the blue text. Copy the text under what says blue text

I'm trying to make the text in my DevID page black because it shows up white on the custom style it's using and I can't see the text due to that. But the method you mentioned above not only failed, but it misaligned everything... is there any other way for it to work? I have CORE if it needs that.

Unfortunately, in order to use these codes you need a core membership. As they can only be used in Custom boxes. >~< Sorry about that! Best of luck with your profile! It looks pretty good as-is!
