isnt that a bit big for a revolver?

In all honestly, it's supposed to be about the same size as a .44 Magnum, but I think I might have fucked up the proportions when I moved the pistol grip.

nothing says badass more than a revolver, though when it comes to them there is a small line between "old" or "classic", and "clusterfuck-sci-fi". you managed to make a slightly sci-fi revolver and at the same time keeping the badass look of the revolver.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if I messed up the firing system up too much. From the feedback, I guess that wasn't the case. :3

I love this bro. Revolvers are my favorite kind of gun, and this is just sci-fi enough that I like it, but not so sci-fi it kills the form. And I see we both had the same though, as my LF30 non-lethal revolver uses a near-identical hammer system. However, I have two questions. One, if HCORP is an american company, why does it possess a Soviet star on the side? My guess is aesthetic purposes but I still must ask. Secondly, what might the caliber be? Just to sate curiousity.

Thanks. :3

I honestly didn't think through how the firing system is suppose to work, but I was thinking something along a fully automatic revolver, then I was unsure about it.

Well, I suppose HCORP is an American company although, I've thought about making another company, just for the hell of it. HCORP reflects me, thus the soviet star. Not every American is a Democratic Loving scumbag. lol :3

Caliber? I have no idea. That's one thing that I was unsure of. I was thinking of .50 cal or something.

A fully-automatic revolver isn't a bad idea, though having a select for semi-auto fire would be most handy.

Oh, believe me Czech, while I may be American I detest the way the political system works here.

And as for the caliber, maybe go for a custom cartridge? Something better than .45, but not as overkill as .50 cal. Maybe a PDW cartridge?

The handle will not be too short?

It shouldn't be, but it might be.

This is right up there with my XM-40 Hexa bullpup revolver carbine/PDW in the area of crazy wheel guns.

Revolving pepperbox guns and harmonica pistols still hold top spot.

Thanks. I guess, I just wanted some scifi'ish revolver, so I changed up the firing mechanism a little bit.

Yeah....this is my kind of weapon!

Love revolvers because you can get alot more higher caliber rounds than with an semi-automatically fed system. From alot of your drawings you seem to favor the M16 or MP5 style charging handle, is that your intent?

Just a bit of a problem with the angular direction of the barrel muzzel, revolvers typically shoot out large bursts of smoke since they have the capabilities of higher grain bullets, the angle you've set the muzzel would trap all the remaining gasses and smoke inside the barrel after each shot, theoretically anyhow. Now, reversing the angle to spout upward might fix that hobgoblin. I also notice you favor the enclosed trigger area design, having the handle, trigger and saftey enclosed with a bar at the bottom, similar to common paintball guns. If this revolver is designed to be shot, I should assume it is a miniature two-handed pistol. Meaning your left hand would support the barrel by holding it like an SMG. Very stylish and intimidating design for a revolver I might say, and I always thought the design of the Nerf Maverick as a functoning revolver would be a nifty design, having blowback system that automatically cocks the chamber and firing pin while turning your revolving magazine; This is probably better than my imagined product though.

Keep it up

Thanks. :3

Yeah, I love the M16 charging handle. lol :3

Ah, switching the angle of the spout would be a really good idea, thanks for that.

Yeah, it's designed to be held with two hands like you would as a rifle.
