thats actually a double action, cause it can both be cocked back, and fired, or you can just pull the trigger without cocking back

No, that didn't come until around 1877 with the Colt Lightning (and maybe other designs). Most modern revolvers are double action, but the majority of classic "western" era revolvers will be single action.

Actually got to hold this pistol. It's a pain to load though! I would rather load a musket than that pistol. haha! But this looks great though! I like the shading.

Thanks. Yeah, I hate reloading revolvers too, but they are fun as hell to shoot.

They are fun as hell to me if they have bullets and not the lead ball and gun powder. haha!

Haha, reloading the lead ball and gun powder would be unbearable. I bet if I tried to load a gun like that, I would end up putting in too much gun powder and end up blowing myself up. lol.

Haha! True that. It adds to the uslessness when the revolver chambers don't swing out. The rod under the berral has to pound the lead ball into the chamber after you put the gunpowder in. Really to me it's a neet pistol, but why...just why? haha!

nice man. um if i may try to help, try adding some metallic highlights (the white and black lines on curved metal.) and mayby( depending on what you are going for) some texture like tyny scratches or whatever. Im just sayin. you dont need to take my word (srously dont take shit from other artists unless YOU feel like it might add to your talent) keep goin man the guns are awesome!

i like subs too, i use them in any game that has it
and i think people just want to see your depictions of other weapons, not only baiased on preference

Nice, it reminds me of the black powdered revolvers Clint Eastwood used in the movie "the Outlaw Josey Wales."

Medium caliber, but a good carry piece. Lighter weight than it's Army brother, a good sidearm for a gunslinger.

Very noce job! I have a actual Colt Single Action Army Revolver and I love it to death After watching the movie True Grit I have decided on getting a Colt 1851 Navy Revolver. The company that made mine also makes that gun and many more other western guns.

I just asked him for his opininion...
Quote: My Dad
''Every part looks rather good, nicely shaded and fine amount of detail. Only bad thing is handle, which is tilted in wrong position''
Don't get my dad wrong, he is rather finnicky about lot of things, especialy this revolver =/
I'l try to make him to draw one Colt navy

Cool, tell him I say "thanks".
It's all good. I'm human after all, so I know I will not do everyone 100%. But, I do wish I was a cyborg, with a submachine gun for my right arm!

What a sexy looking Revolver! ^^ Being a .36 caliber, I wonder about the stopping power?
