Description tell her to stop her daily plight to attain absolute perfection.

Good ANA's never die? Good ANA's live on as the next one's thinspiration? She dons her bones outside of her flesh on one side, no need to take up space inside.

wow.. great great piece.. nice statment.
I myself HATE how there is this uwriten law that no woman is allowed to love herself for herself. No we all must hate our bodies.. I'm to fat, to skinny, to short, to tall, my breasts are to small or big. incourge us to abuse ourself, to difgure ourself... to kill ourselves. No man's hard on is worth that.

Well done.

C'mon fellas you say the photos of girls like this are 'hot'...what do ya have to say now?
Now that some one actually tells you what it might take to be so 'hot'.
I don't think I'll be heard by the ones I'm talking to, but just in case...
nice work by the way, I'll be watching.
I'd love to see the rest of this series.

this makes a very poignant statement, which *should* build up rage.
women constantly make caricatures of themselves by loading themselves up with silicone and botox and injections and changing their hair color and tanning and plastering their faces with makeup..they abuse their bodies to make men happy, and then become unhappy with themselves because they look like every other woman who's dissatisfied with the attention she does/doesn't get..

'tis a catch 22 situation, really. sex sells, and women who aren't a specific year/make/model fall outside of the beautiful and sexy category.. so women drive themselves to desperate measures to fit in, even if it means sacrificing their health and happiness...

it's a sad state of affairs that the advertising industry is still a patriarchally driven business.

*steps off feminist soapbox*

in any case, this is a strong, evocative drawing, and i admire your willingness to bring such an ugly sore right under the spotlight...

to be completely honest
i think women do it more to please other women

what i mean is..if i were to walk past my male friends and have them say to me "u really need to lose weight" it wouldn't affect me as bad as if it were the girls who said it.

all we ever do is compare. she's gorgeous - why aren't i. even when we do it for men, think about it "no wonder he doesn't want me..look at that girl he's with, i'm not that pretty...i should be better than her" sorta thing

again, it's because women have been conditioned to do so.

once women stop giving a rat's ass about what other people (men and women alike) think of them, perhaps a bit of self-acceptance and love would go further.

i'm happy not to care what another woman thinks of how i look. i'm not too fat, not too thin, i've only had surgery for the birth of my daughter, i haven't gone on crash diets, and i don't wear makeup. i color my hair, but it's because i'm easily bored. (it's been a *lot* of different colors; lol) i don't get my nails done, don't go to salons or spas.

i'm not against any of those choices, as long as they are solely for the person making them. unfortunately, most times, they aren't.

if a girl told me i needed to lose weight, i'd be offended that she was so superficial. who the fuck is anyone to say that, unless it's a serious health matter? and even then, what kind of *friend* would they be to say that if it *wasn't* a serious health matter? i don't keep catty self-centered friends; no woman should. it's not healthy, especially if she already has a fragile self esteem.

it's very simple. it really is. have more faith and confidence in yourself and your beauty, and the right people will notice it. it's most definitely not an external quality.

mm nicely put
it really is a shame that people take it to heart
personally, my friends wouldn't dare, they're better than that and i'm really glad to hear from someone with a personality as strong as yours, it really is quite refreshing
