Actually, the nazis were national socialists, hence the name nazi. Mussolini was a fascist. That doesn't mean they one sucks less than the other. They all suck. I'm just a stickler for terms is all.

They used "socialist" as a way of appealing to the working classes, as socialism was a fairly popular idea at the time. There was nothing actually socialist in Nazism.

Actually, there was, because Nazism means the expansion of the nation state through the control of the market place, which is what socialism is; control of the market. See, they funneled wealth from the economy and diverted it to the war effort to expand their empire instead of distributing it back into the economy. I think the kind of socialism you're referring to is communism where there is only one class and the government distributes the wealth.

You're trying to argue with a Socialist, what do you expect. They cry for democracy and freedom but cannot stand the idea's of others or even the thought that others can define there own idea's.
"I'm a conservative" No you're a reactionary
I'm a liberal" No you're pettie bourgeois.

What bollocks. One would have to be either ignorant of history or intellectually dishonest to make such a nonsensical claim.
Neither Hitler nor the Nazi were 'socialist' in the least. Indeed, socialism is both common ownership over the means of production and subsequently freedom of exploitation. Nazi Germany did not achieve nor promote either of these topics, instead concentrating power into the hands of the few and using indoctrination, scapegoats and militarism to control the masses.
Hitler was actually very supportive of the world markets' involvement with his country, and vice versa. Coca cola,, was constantly distributed throughout the nation, and the very aspect of 'unemployment' dropping to zilch (except for, you know, the jews, who were victims of this disgusting, FASCIST movement)implies that there are still capitalists 'employing' and exploiting them.
Not only were the Nazis fascist, but they were also clearly capitalist.
Learn your terms. Learn your economics. Learn your history.

I believe you mean Nazism or Hitlerism. The Swastika has many meanings and the fascist ideology was simply used by the Nazis. Being a fascist does not make one a Nazi.
The Swastika can be seen as a sign of strength and a symbol of the will to start a revolution (not always a bad one).
I do not support Hitler or the Nazi party.

That's not freedom. That's privilege.

there's no such thing as 'freedom to', freedom is always 'from'
taking away another's property is known as theft or taxation
π: 0 β©: 1
zxcewq In reply to Zbychowiec [2012-10-28 08:48:29 +0000 UTC]
What is this word-twisting rhetoricifying bullshit!? It doesn't matter which way you fucking phrase it? If you allow a fascist a voice, then you are directly tolerating a group of people who ardently wish to TAKE AWAY THAT SAME FREEDOM!
The counterintuitive of you Americans burns me from the inside out.
And as a side note, how is it theft if the property is not then owned by someone else? One could make the argument that it is actually the owner of private property who is keeping the naturally unowned land from the people who work it every day.
