Description
Character obivously inspired from Nova or starcrafts ghost- character it self is 4536 polys with an 1024 map for body and 256 for head. Gun is 456 polys with a 512 map. I also want to point out that this is my first female character (still able to count the number of characters ive done in one hand), and also my first propper rig.for other imgs:

cool stuff man, i like the texturing (spec and bumps look cool)
the armor design is pretty cool, im not sure what she is based off but it kinda reminds me of the ghost (though ghosts have those glowey seams which look really cool)
the only thing i dont really like are her high heels, they seem abit weird for combat wear
im glad i didnt bother trying to lowpoly any characters for the competition, there are way too many good artists out there

lol yea,,,, sorta based off the ghost, but with with abit of marines style
i havent seen any really good low poly for starcraft yet.... so im hoping everyone will be doing wow

how did u do the face texture? from the picture or pained by hand?

Don't be surprised if they complain about the eyes being too small. The way you have it makes her a little more realistic, which is great, but they might not like it. Video game characters tend to have slightly enlarged eyes (main characters anyway) because it makes it easier for the player to see their expressions. I doubt that's news to you though.
Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent work.

lol true, but she wont look any where near as hot with larger eyes tho and plus ... shes asian.... we usually have smaller eyes

What a nice entry i really like the metal texture u used and the face is really unique and pretty im glad i entered into the Diablo section
I have a few critiques in regard to the elbows and hair, The elbow joints seem a bit off its really noticable in the 4th and 6th pictures they become too skinny and the mesh flow dosent match the muscle structure in that area. The hair's opacity map could do with a bit more work as well they still very much resemble planes you can see the squareness.
Best of luck, shes a really nice model overall I noticed in the other pictures that the rig was really well done too Great work ^_^

hey, thanks for hte comment, yea the elbows...... i remember sorting them out at somepoint, but i guess not, as for the hair... max was giving me bs, the reason y they look really poor is cus the renderer isnt predicting the shadows propperly... major pain in hte ass and not much i could do about it in such little time, so this is prolly as well as i can get it

oh yea getting that final render to be perfect is a pain, hehe especialy when you have a deadline.
