Now this is something I was working on to seal 2o12. It's a more proper, finished version of this experiment: [link]
I had fun but it was hard to do due to limitations of space on desk.
A3; mech pencil o.5 with 2B core.

edit: added more shadows on chest to fit with the rest of the body. Now the drawing is complete.

This is absolutely magickal. A beautiful rendering of softness and strength, balanced as tightly as his bow string. The image rising in the back is so evocative - whether a deep mystery rising within his soul, or a image of his past or future. A drawing that makes me want to stop what I am doing and get lost in it for a while

The ghosts on the sides represent the past and his (new) bow represents the future. The figure in the back should represent guidance.
