Here's a tip: Stop drawing anime and focus on other stuff. Try using different techniques in drawing characters. (if you remember what I showed you on iscribble.net) Try painting with surfaces instead of lines (see how good it works in your environments?) The anime style has poisoned you. I'm not saying it's bad, but when you try everything else and then return to what you did before, you will see a significant change.
