It really is good to know you're still around tumblr at least, though I'm still not very comfortable there due the lack of feedback. Oh, but let me tell you I think your art has improved so much it was hard for me to believe it was still yours! It's like a 180° turn!!

Ha, sorry for being so elusive. I just switched to tumblr because I'm on it so much more and I feel more comfortable there! There is a definite lack of feedback, so I can see how that would be a bit off putting, but a lot of people post their doodles there, which makes me feel better about posting there. Ah thank you so much! It's really nice to hear I'm improving, even though it's hard to see most of the time. You're getting loads better yourself; you've got a definite style defined, and your coloring and fluidity in your poses is amazing!

Hey, don't worry. Now I know where you are, right? I put doodles and sketches mostly there, and I'm open to try it, but I don't know... it feels not welcoming enough.
Well, yes, you are and I can't believe how fast it's been! I just need to see more coloring to know how you are in that area.
Really? I didn't know! I guess I just drew over and over until it was defined, but my anatomy skills I have been purposly working on. Actually, I'm making a tutorial, and out of that one, I've become so much better, especially with legs and feet. Also, remember I took comic classes? They made me so much better! But how about you? How are you? Are you graduating soon? I am, so that's the only thing I can think of.

Ah yeah, I know how that is. If you're comfortable on here, then that's good! On tumblr, it definitely takes a lot of time to build up a group of supporters. I've actually always felt a bit uncomfortable here on deviantart, so switching to tumblr was a good choice for me.
I don't actually practice coloring very much! I have a drawing that I digitally colored recently on my tumblr, but unfortunately I think that the face has a bit of odd shading that I can't fix (I just use a free art program called FireAlpaca, and when you close it the layers all merge together) and I didn't really shade the rest of it out of laziness.
Yeah, you've definitely improved a lot! All that hard work is totally paying off! I can't believe you're graduating; that's crazy! Have you picked where you're going to college yet? Are you excited? I'm only a sophmore this year, so I'm nowhere near close to graduating and college is still quite daunting for me.

I feel like this is the best place, but... since everybody seems to move to tumblr, it makes it feel kind of empty now.
I saw the blue ones and I think they're awesome that way. Just practice a little more. FireAlpaca sounds like Gimp, so I get you about the layers, but I find it more interestingly that way.
The same goes to you then, because your artwork looks so much more profesional now!
Haha, yeah! Real soon I'll be on college and I can't wait! I'm so excited I cannot handle my feelings. I admit sometimes I feel like I'm too small to be there, or sad because I will no longer be at high school, but then the majesty of learning to do things I really care about fill me with joy and the wait seems eternal! But trust me, enjoy being small. Once you reach this stage your feelings almost kill you

Deviantart is still full of great artists, so I'd just stick where you think is best!
I finally decided to invest in Painter Tool SAI and oh man, it was so worth it. My art has improved so much and I'm having lots of fun trying things out and experimenting.
