Description
A request/gift for my friend, Grace, who wrote a short story titled "Swing Set" and asked me to do a drawing of the characters for her. I still have a lot of work to do when it comes to digital painting, but I'm definitely making progress, albeit VERY slowly. I'm sort of just experimenting and trying to figure this out on my own and it's... interesting. Comments and critiques would be fantastic and immensely helpful, as well as any tips you may have when it comes to digital painting!The background image used is from the lovely Arrow & Apple photography

Wow, you are making such better artworks! Congratulations!!! But if you want a tip, I'd say you could make the library a bit darker or use darker shadows, since they kind of get lost on the details, and the lines that mark their cheeks are too marked. Try bluring them a bit
