Thank you so much Michelle oh i hate shaving and it comes in to quick i always get pulled at work for it but i just keep saying "i'm groing a beard" until i can be bothered to shave i was thinking of using some womans stuff to wax it off then thought twice

Self portraits are, I believe, the biggest challenge to a portrait artist: to be gentle and honest enough with our own image to render it well... This is just wonderful: there's a real feeling of quiet strength in this: a steady gaze into the distance, head held high, but not haughtily... The details are wonderful: I love the glasses--the reflections, and the view "through" we see in the left lens; the hat and shirt, the beard--all beautifully done! A wonderful piece!

Thank you so much it was really strange doing myself, although it was from the photo i kept thinking i'll leave this out or do something to make me look better this was quite a quicky compared to some of them so i was quite suprised with the outcome, probably as there were no eyes or hair
