Description
1. Allow a means of selecting a method of payment, instead of strictly paying in points. Let the seller select what method(s) of payment they will accept (points vs. direct deposit into "My Earnings"). If they select both, let the customer select which method they will be paying by, and let the price change to reflect the correct price for the method chosen.a. If people pay with points, it should be treated like donations, no difference should be made, but they should be treated like regular points.
b. If people pay directly into the "My Earnings," I just put "PayPal" because it was easier, then none should be taken from the amount paid; unless they choose to change the cash into points, at which the normal exchange rate (1.00 = 80 points) applies. Otherwise, it should sit in "My Earnings," until the seller decides whether they want a check, or to put it into PayPal.
2. To possibly consolidate space, allow for bullet options (such as poem/short story/etc., head/waist/full body, and so on), entered by the seller to be made selectable by the customer, and check-box "a la carte" additions (such as additional characters, complexity, backgrounds, etc.), also entered by the seller. This would also allow a seller to decline a sale, and message the customer, asking them to select an option that would add an amount for complexity (one of the issues I saw mentioned), if they find the concept to be too detailed for a basic picture.
Non-Visual Suggestions:
3. Raise the maximum amount that we are allowed to be charged. There are many artists whose prices surpass double digits, and to limit the amount of money that customers can pay restricts them.
4. Ah, I remembered this one. Establish some sort of back-and-forth method of payment verification.
Example:
a. The customer places the order.
b. The money/points are put on a "hold" when the seller confirms their acceptance of the job.
c. When the seller is finished, the seller sends a message to the customer.
d. The customer and seller verify that the work is complete. The transaction completes itself.
For possible complaints about the use of USD... I am not opposed to other methods of payment being available, but, currently, I believe "My Earnings" deals in USD. I do not know if PayPal allows exchange into other currencies, so I'm not even touching that, right now.

Too bad they like, never listen to us unless we give them a ton of money for a moment of time.

It'll be a long while before I commission anything, but I like the options here a lot better than on the actual widget.
But that's me, I'm a sucker for anything with "options."

i've currently converted points into real money using paypal and it was about soething $12 and it changed into about £7.50 so it does convert it in paypal.
