Omg look at my big boy
I wanted to make this chart to know more about Edward's werewolf transformation and how it's supposed to work,
so here you get all the info !
Phase 3 Edward is a real snack
I want to lay my head on his fluffy chest

Phase 0 [0 week without eating]
The Edward as we know, calm, has control over his emotions and needs.
Isn't in need of flesh or blood.

Phase 1 [4 weeks without eating]
Is a bit less patient and gets irritated easily.
Struggles to keep control over his anger issues.
Will be a bit more rushy when trying to trap a girl.
Can't hide his claws anymore.
No physical changes.
A simple drop of Layla's blood can get him back to his normal self.

Phase 2 [2 months without eating]
Constantly a bit on the edge.
Frustrated and hungry.
Will try to attract a girl in a dark alley and kill her there instead of taking his time.
Taller, his muzzle gets a bit longer.
His ears and tail will start growing again.
A sip of Layla's blood is needed for him to go back to his normal self.

Phase 3 [5 months without eating]
Cannot express himself as well as before.
Can still make sentences, but can't use complicated words.
Won't bother to attract a girl anymore, he will kidnap her
and take her someplace where no one can see them to kill her and consume her flesh.
Looks like a regular anthropomorphic wolf.
Muzzle is longer, his fur is growing and gets darker on certain places (chest, forearms, tibia, neck)
Ears and tail almost to their normal size.
Eyes are constantly glowing from this point.
Forearms gets longer.
A cup of Layla's blood is needed for him to go back to his normal self.

Phase 4 [8 months without eating]
Cannot make sentences anymore, can only use simple words.
Still intelligent enough to know how to be stealthy and not get himself caught.
Will hunt in places far from the population like forests or small villages.
Less likely to attack cat and wolf species, since they're in his genes.
Struggles to walk on his legs.
Horns and and spikes starts to grow where he has his scars,
which means they appeared once before during his his life, probably in the very beginning.
One liter of Layla's blood is needed for him to go back to his normal self.

Phase 5 [1 year without eating]
Can grow wings if he feels threatened by a more powerful creature than him.
Doesn't talk anymore, will only grunt and roar.
Is thinking like a beast, will attack anyone on sight, male, females, children, babies,
anything that can satisfy his need of flesh and blood.
Is 2 x bigger than his normal self.
Concerning his sexual needs, he doesn't have any, so it's completely out of the question.
He would need to eat Layla entirely to get back to his normal self.
But something inside of him would tell him not to.
On the other hand, one liter of her blood could help him get back to phase 4.

I find it amazing to see how much you have both improved in anatomy and in story writing through out the years of me knowing you. Ed being the biggest influence and proof when it comes to that. His story changed so much from the first year of you owning him and in all honestly, I will never be sick of him. I'm always excited to see more art of him and I'm happy that your followers love him as much as you do- I know it means a lot to you
NOW ON to the drawing.
The anatomy is so well done, though there are a couple of minor mistakes but it's nothing too major and honestly you drew 6 different drawings, if there were no mistakes I would be concerned- I love the extra patterning you gave him in some of his evolutions and the extra details in the description about Layla's blood being the thing that can bring him back to his senses. I am eager to see the reasoning behind that one day!
I also love the horns, spikes and tail! They are such a cool thing to add and it also proves the fact Skinner and him have some sort relation to one another.
I love his fluffΒ and I really can't get sick of those expression, seing him so cranky makes me want to tease him- though I know I'd probably get stabbed uwu

Well he's definitely a big part of me, so of course as long as I'm alive, he will live too β₯
And yeah I know about the mistakes, they're too obvious but I didn't want to start everything over :'>
I just want to make it obvious that Layla is important to him and she's his solution to a better life β₯

Well to sum it up, you already know that he got tested on during war and became an ΓΌbermensch thanks to that,
and the transformation is a side-effect, so he needs to eat female flesh (it has something to do with their hormones) to keep himself "normal" :'>
The thing is that the serum was made from various alpha males cells among the animal kingdom (feral ones, not anthropomorphic ones), so that could explain the need for female blood
And there comes Layla's blood, that's very special, so that's why he keeps her close to him

I was about to asked why he needed to eat only the females but I understand why now. Does eating other flesh aside than the girls in desperation (in his final form) would give him any side effects? Since he has to feast on female flesh originally.Β

He could eat male flesh too, but it is way less effective than female flesh, and also he thinks it tastes bad xD
More than that, he needs to seduce them (when in phase 0, 1, 2, 3) and lure them with a romantic intimate night to get to drug them and eat them,
and since he's heterosexual he would never do that with a man. (btw I know the drug part sounds bad but it's actually a drug that erase pain, because he's a good guy like that)
So he resolves himself to eat male flesh when he doesn't have anymore control over himself, mainly in phase 5, but also in phase 4 if he really doesn't have any other choice :')

That does seem like a problem, so I can definitely see that he will eat male flesh only when he couldn't control himself. As he doesn't need to do the seducing and such anymore cause his hunger will overtake him.Β

Wellllll, actually Layla will "produce" blood one week per month (you know what I'm talking about)
so he doesn't need to cut her or hurt her in any way, but of course that's not something he can do out of the blue
so that's why he needs her to love him and let him get intimate with her, and since his phase 1 happens after 4 weeks,
the timing is perfect
Once she knows about him needing her blood, he'll give her the choice between cutting her somewhere and drinking it from here
(there, he will give her a bit of the drug too but in a small amount since it's too powerful for just a cut),
or "drinking" it directly from the source (ye, period blood)
so she'll make her choice, if she wants to help him, because she has the right to just tell him to piss off and say no,
which he doesn't mind at all because he can just keep on feasting on the other womans' bodies
until she changes her mind (because she will)
Talking about our characters is the best ! That's why we have to jump on every question we can get and answer them xD

Well, since every girl has a different experience with periods (for some girls it's worse than death, for the others it's not, it's just like the lottery, wow !),
my thought for hers would be so painful that she can't move (like big cramps twice every hour or something like that)
and she would also be super cuddly and affectionate
but Edward being the awesome husband that he is,
he would give her a little something made by himself to erase the pain so it's all good !
He's like a super hero that helps only the people he loves
Which is only one person on earth xD

Yea, that is true it seems.. where I am. People here are way too forceful and would label you in such a negative light if you dare think otherwise or oppose their socially accepted ideas. I had to play along of course, but it really hurts having to balance between what I believe and pretending to be like them. I do hate how hateful and prejudiced these people are here.

Yes it does ! It's actually the reason why Edward kidnapped her,
just from her scent he could smell that she was way too special to be kept away from him :>
She's his solution for a normal life of not killing and eating people :')
Well, let's say that one drop of her blood is the equivalent of one whole body of a regular size !
So yeah, she definitely is precious to him !
