The strongest of the cybernetic enhanced slasher based necromorphs. Unlike the MK.2 Assailants these are even more deadly and durable wearing more advanced combat armored suits that grant them greater protection from dismemberment. While they are deployed as elite shock troops they are have been reserved mostly to be Simon’s private elite guards/soldiers, whatever has his interests he leaves guarded by these necromorph spec-ops. MK.3s are as intelligent as the Assailants but are more refined and have better special training, they’re suits being light and noise absorbing allow them to blend into dark environments easily and block scans and sensors making them nearly undetectable until the attack. Their suits can also cloak them so they can sneak up on their prey making almost no noise. Their better training makes them greater marksmen and close quarters combatants. MK.3s can self destruct exploding which can take anyone within close range with them. A backpack like unit on their backs stores extra necromorphic bio matter that can feed into its body that allows it to have limited regeneration, restoring lost limbs if needed.
