These are legendary and powerful armaments that have been past down to those worthy enough to use them in the S.H.E.B for thousands of years. The items themselves are viewed as sacred by the people of Garathuun for their lore says these items were created and later gifted to the five original disciples of the Five Dark Gods by them. Being made by the five they are viewed further as revelations of the five dark gods and only a few in the empires history have proven worthy for only those the items see worthy will they reveal themselves to and allow that person to use them, and those who are worthy of these items are slated for greatness by the five making those who possess any of them, saints.

The Sacred Five are said to only reveal themselves to certain people, meaning they cannot be found anywhere. The only way one would obtain one of them is if the five gods have plans for them. They cannot be taken away from their current owner for they will defend themselves as well as their owner and if the owner were to die the items will disappear until another is chosen to have them.

Trivia:

Each of the Sacred Five were named after the surnames of the five original disciples. The house of said names were and still are the most prestigious and influential families in the empire.

Each of the Sacred Five have their own special abilities listed below.

1. Spear of Bulesterell- Bulesterell was the first Sable Guard (royal guard) of the first King and Queen Apostle. To this day only two Sable Guard Captains have wielded this spear. Grants it’s user with high poison resistance. Poisons foes with each strike, this poison seems to be most deadly to all manner of non-humans with humans being immune to it. This poison can only be cured by curing magics/miracles.

2. Glaive of Furiso- Furiso was the first handmaiden and midwife to the first Queen Apostle. Her glaive commands both elements of dark and Fire. This item of the five is the most enigmatic for so few have possessed it, making its abilities mostly unknown. Some have said that the glaive for so long as the user holds it will be invincible though this can’t be confirmed.

3. Sword and shield of Zoran- Zoran was the eldest brother to Celena and one of the churches founders alongside his younger sister. In his time he became the first Pontiff of Water. The sword can go through shields ignoring them making it impossible to block against strikes from this sword, only magic shields can block it. The shield regenerates the user healing them with each strike of the sword while after a few consecutive strikes gives the user a boost in defense and power, shield can also deflects offensive magic. Lastly a prayer inscribed on the shield can be invoked to cast to weaken magic users.

4. Chime of Celena- Celena was one of three siblings who established the church that worships the five, in her time she became one of the first Pontiffs, specifically the first Pontiff of Fire. The Chime like most used to conjure the effects of miracles in the empire only this chime greatly decreases the cast time for casting miracles while greatly boosting their power/effectiveness at the cost of the users life force. The chime has a passive ability to make miracles that buff others with enchantments to persist longer and protect against possession.

5. Cape of Lucius- Lucius was the first Divine Paladin of the empire and the five gods, his cape blessed him with high magic defense, the power of invisibility and to walk through walls. The cape is said to have few other abilities but they’re unknown even to the current user of this item.
