The Fauxfire slugs are all stolen from the Sydonian and PRU militaries. The .577 A.R.S.E (Aetheric Resonance Something Explosive--Yeah, seems like something a pirate would come up with) is essentially a DIY APHID or Magitek explosive... ...so it may not even work, depending on who made it, mind you, some of the pirates are well versed in the alchemical arts. Some of them might even be cast-off princesses and princes, ignoble nobles slumming it with the rest of us. Tch-shyeah right, can you imagine?A)
To utilize the ARSE Cannon: Are we sure we really want to call it this? Really? Fine. Remove the Fauxfire and crank the hammer back to seal off the chamber. From there, just load each shell into the breech of the adjacent magazine tube. (No more than THREE. Stop trying to cram as many shells as you can into my guns!) or the main firing chamber. Hit the button on the side to energize the firing chamber--just make sure you fire it within ~ a minute give or take... maybe 15-20 seconds? Let's just say you don't want to be standing there with a hot A.R.S.E. Get it? Hey, wanna get a whiff of some hot ar-- Wait. Wait, where are you taking me? Wh-the brig? On captain's orders? B-but I didn't even--But I'm Quartermaster!
