Some more progress on my pheasant repaint .Having fun with this one so far - I used clear gesso mixed with grey, applied it with a sponge brush to achieve the 'rough' look and sanded it down so that I'm working on a smooth surface. Then came the base layer for the pheasant, although I originally planned to do her larger and not include the whole body but the brush seemed to have a different idea!
