Yeeeup. I got a picture up that actually managed to have Daxter and Tess in the same picture. I've had this stored for about a week now and my scanner is back online, so yah.
This took way too damn long to finish and add the final touches.
For now, I'm going to make a short point on something I don't want to hear in people's comments that I've heard elsewhere and don't want to hear again.
Just because I happened to have Dax and Tess in the same picture and used song lyrics and ornamentation DOES NOT mean that I am copying/ripping-off/however-you-want-to-put-it-ing Jenni's style and whatnot. So certain people IRL who've seen this (you know who you are) and have flattered/offended (depending on how you want to look at it) me, dun bother. I don't wanna hear it.
My good Weas is an inspiration, not a source for me. Get it through your thick heads, por favor.
... Okay, other than that miniscule rant, I'm rather happy at how this turned out. Well, it looks better from a distance, anyways.
Aye, my above rant is only directed at one person, and they don't even have an account here at dA, so don't worry about any of that crap being directed at anyone of major importance, friends.
... This picture is also based off of a chapter of a fanfiction I'm writing. Rather sad fic... actually.
That and I was watching Phantom of the Opera (for like the 5 billionth time x_x) while working on this for the most part... so that might explain the fire there and the stage-setting in general... although the fire really didn't have much of a point.

Daxter and Tess aren't mine. They're NDI's and supposedly RAD's.

Prismacolor markers, Crayola and Faber-Castell colored pencils, an HB pencil, rubber stamps, .5 and .7 mm Uniball, rough sketching paper, white gel-pen, glittery and metallic gel-pens of practically every color in the rainbow except for green, and some multi-colored stamp ink

The fic isn't even finished yet. In fact, it's been on hold for say... maybe half of a year. I'll upload it to either here or Fanfiction.net when I'm done with it. What's sad is that it's a one-shot. And it's taken so long to write. Wtf.

Wow, this is really quite excelent!
Love your usage of color, and the poses, and all and all just...all-of it. 
It does reminde me of the old late 1800's/early 1900's theater style too.
my only crit is about the Tess side veiw; her boobies and chest are up a little too high, and her face seems a little squished. but it's still fine.
Great job, I hope to see more work like this from you.

... I wasn't trying to borrow Weasie's style (although I am flattered to recieve a comment such as yours! Stop flattering meh! XD ), but the picture just kind of came out that way. >_>
What I should've explained was that I didn't go to one of Jen's pics and tried to recreate or immulate(spelling? o_0) her style... 'cause if I did this picture would've come out waaaaaay different. But yes, I must agree that fanart doesn't really matter. The reason I do fanart is because I enjoy drawing other people's characters (my original ones just plain suck.), and I'm just kind of practicing with my skills before I go to an art college of sorts (I'm looking towards Los Angeles right now. 
Yup. When you're watching Phantom of the Opera... theatre-stuff tends to influence whatever you're doing.
Oh, and thankyou very much for teh crit... For some reason, I just can't draw boobies in general. They are a tad too high, aren't they?
... I also made a hugeass'd mistake on the gun. See if you can find what I did wrong. Hint: something is missing.

Sometimes it's her that drives me to become a better artist every day. I may sound like I'm being competetive, but I'd like to be better than her someday.
Although she's not a role-model, or 'role-artist' actually, for me, she does inspire me and make me want to keep improving. And what I understand is that I'll never be as good an artist as her no matter how hard I try, but it's that fact right there that pushes me.
... That last paragraph sounded way too deep.
