I loved all the colours and twisty bits in the background. The way you have written love is so swish! The colouring overall is quite frankly some of the best I have seen in a traditional medium. Really nice work :wink:

Like, holy shit. It's becoming shit to try and think of what I could say about this that could be witty, pretty, and coherent at the same time, but it's becoming a no-go. I can't even put my finger on it... it kinda reminds me of myself a few years back... a style I used, I mean. S'kinda freaky, but because you've gotten a huge headstart in, like, EVUHRAYTHANG, this is way better, and it's scaring the shit out of me. X3 I mean, it's just majestic. God. Wow. Yes. The big eyes, long neck, funny looking [not in a bad way... plus ou moins unique! ;D] proportions... Yeesh. Too awesome. I guess it all boils down to the fact that I really like the composition. Très bizarre!

Perspective's an ass, but you'll be able to tackle it in a much better light in the very near future; I think it fits really snug here anyhow, since Bob designed Dax with funny proportions anyway... that could be your excuse I guess. Those colors give me happy seizures. *SPAZBEEYOTCH* Γͺ_Γͺ Whoooooo. Funny color choices that, oddly enough, work. I can't say I'm TOO partial to alot of secondary color schemes, but JEEZ. I can tell you poured alot of yo' hahrt n'd sooooul into thees; those oranges really are some grungy stuff. Yet smooth. Very smooth. <3 I really like the amount of green, too; It really does look good on him I think. The blending is so gorgeous... I love the chunky strokes in some parts. Kinda looks like paint. ;D The pinky purples of course... mmf. I love those to death.
I also need to point out the awesome traces of what I believe are... dundunDUN... reflective lighting. DX Ho jeez. Well done, woman. I dig that jacket. It's like he's got this metallic fabric lining on the jacket and the bloos and purples just lose themselves in it. ΓΆ gasp! Man. I love the design overall - badass. <3 Dax est sΓ»rement le roi dans ce. >D
GRAFFITI. Γ¨_Γ© I dig, k. El oh vee eah. The coloring is winnage and puts my graffiti colorings to complete shame. xO I love the simple layout of it - it's all neat and tidy. It ties up and enhances the overall composition well... ah, yus. There's nothing like a good batch of lyrics and lettering to clean things up. xD
And freakin' a. That expression on his face cracks me the hell up. X3 He looks so smug.

Well... I do plan for a career in gaming... making concept art... animate maybe... or even be an art director and boss people around and tell 'em what to draw and shit! 8D
I wanna go big and work all artsy in the gaming or movie (preferably gaming... Disney/Pixar animators don't get paid the way they should...) industry. A little birdie told me that videogames are going to be very big in the future.

Ummmmmmm... if you want to, and I'd be very proud to teach, I can tell you what I do with my colors to make my pictures all... colorful.
1) pick a color... let's just say... green, since you seem to like that green jacket so much.
2) well, since we're working with green... and we wanna make it colorful... try blending lighter areas in the green parts that you've already colored not with a lighter shade of green; but use a yellow or bright lime color like that to give it it's 'brightness'.
3) Do the same that you did before, except this time color the darker areas of the green parts with a blue (preferably indigo or a colorful but dark shade). This gives it more color also.
More Examples of colors that look good together naturally (when blended... not contrasted... I think.)
+(dark)>(normal)>(light)
+ Blue>
+ Yellow>Orange>Brown/Red
+ Purple/Brown>Red>Orange
+ Aqua>Blue>
etc.
Just go by colors that are next to each other in the rainbow!

If you ever need graffiti text references, go too 'www.cooltext.com', or go to your local ghetto. I live in teh ghettos-ville, and there is graffitti on dumpsters, buildings, fences, walls, er... 'Stop' and 'Yeild' and '>>>' signs, etc... -_-
It's not pretty. But there are some very beautiful collections of graffitti down by the train tracks where there's this old 3 water tanks with really really pretty and artistic graffitti all over. I would take a photo, but it's not a picture of my art.
