Description
A sketch created mainly for the purpose of practicing lighting turned out to look quite ok, so I ended up finishing it. I had loads of fun painting this one and it went along rather smoothly, too

The claws and feet are rather frightening O.o though that look on her face is definatly just as dangerous-loooking as her talons.

Просто я договорился, что смогу регулярно бывать на занятиях в своём местном художественном училище с весны. Надеюсь, что решу проблемы и найду время. Текущий уровень - средненькие представления в области анатомии. Долго ли придётся работать? Что скажете?

Uhm since some time has passed since I learned Russian, I will reply in english, if you don't mind
I am also not sure, if I have understood everything right but...
Everyone's time of learning is different. I don't remember when have I gotten anatomy (about) right. I think it is best to simply concentrate on sketching a lot, preferably from real life models. Maybe you can get some family member or a friend to pose for you?
I cannot really predict when would you be making progress, it's a matter of hard work and talent and especially the latter is hard to measure. It is guaranteed though, that if you practice enough, you will see lots of progress
