Description
A sketch created mainly for the purpose of practicing lighting turned out to look quite ok, so I ended up finishing it. I had loads of fun painting this one and it went along rather smoothly, too

I love her pose, it has the predatory stance of an owl, which is befitting. The background is lovely too, I love stained glass windows. I think you did very well with the shadows and light.

Those hands are incredible - and those wings, lovely. The glass and wall - must have taken awhile, ne? Gorgeous details, as always. Love the blue hue.

Man.. i just dun get how u ppl can create these gorgeous stuff with software! I'm still stuck at the "primitive" methods of colouring by hand..

at first you think it's too dark but then i realised the darkness only increases the contrast whith the blue and brings out the detail

I really envy the fact that you could change the pose of her arm so easily...whenever I digitally color something, any stupid mistakes I did while inking can't be fixed.
