Description
A sketch created mainly for the purpose of practicing lighting turned out to look quite ok, so I ended up finishing it. I had loads of fun painting this one and it went along rather smoothly, too

I love how you make the character look like she's powerful. She has that ora to about her. And how she looks like a plant. And as if it couldnt be even more wonderful, the way it glowsslightly is a nice effect as well. i take my hat off to you

Wooooooow! *stares in awe as jaw drops to floor* This is the most amazing thing I have seen today! I agree that the face kind of makes her look like Angelina Jolie (which is just another reason for me to love it) But I think it's the colouring and the light and shadow (and the wings! Gotta love the wings!) that make me really really like this piece... *faves*

Very beautiful piece!!! The greens and purples work well together...which I wouldn't have expected. I love how she apears to be looking down at you and her wings, though to small for her to fly, I'd think, have such real looking feathers! Love them!!!

I truely love how though she is in the forground she also seems to melt into the background. I look at her draw firstly to her strong beautiful face then down and out following the form. My eye drawn in deeper as she drips into the tree and grows into the stain glass. My soul wants to drink it all in. Truely Inspiring
