Description
A sketch created mainly for the purpose of practicing lighting turned out to look quite ok, so I ended up finishing it. I had loads of fun painting this one and it went along rather smoothly, too

I adore that window behind her. It's quite stunning. It's like shes sitting in a cathedral somewhere. And the tinged glow around her body and on the edges of her wings are quite something. I like the subtlety of her expression, like shes trying to decide if your worth eating.

Your realism work is fantastic, blackeri. The shading and lighting are excellent with this. I love the eyes, the expression, and the hair. The colors you used are fantastic. The wings are exceptional.

gorgeous.. and i loved the screen shots to see how you do your thang. it was awesome. you should do it more often. it made the picture mean even more to know how much work you really put into it. i always knew it took a lot, but never that you changed poses and backgrounds and stuff... i love it.

I really like the background with the colored glass(?)
the overall color range you used and the pattern on her clothing is excelent.
Her legs look odd to me though (how they are attached to the hip) especially the viewing on the picture right one (so her left one).

I don't have a really critic comment on the anatomy and such, couse i just started to learn it (but i'm working on it REALLY hard, like 14 hours a week
