It was a quiet night. All the doors to the small town had been locked. All the lights had been turned off. There was nothing to break the silence, except the sound of chirping from crickets. It was the perfect time for me to simply go through the villiage. Not that I had anything to hide, or anyone to hide from, or something like that. I simply hated traveling in crowds.

My name's Niiko, by the way. Well, actually it's my nick name. I don't know what my actual name is. I've lost my memories about myself. My past and actual name are a mystery even to me. All I can remember is waking up at the side of a river and someone naming me Niiko, so that's been my name for as long as I can remember.

I walked into the small village, the sleeping guards snored, unaware of the male neko had just entered. My long brown hair blowing in the light wind, just coming down to my eye brows. My hazel eyes scanning what they can of the peaceful village. My ears twitched and tail swayed. I wore a white tunic with short sleeves and light brown pants. I didn't bother with shoes. I hate wearing shoes. They make my feet feel cramped and they always make me feel off balance. I stand at six feet, three inches. The regular size for a normal neko such as myself. Upon glancing at me, you'd just think I'm another typical neko, however there are a few features about myself I wouldn't want to get into detail about...not now at least.

I took a few more steps into the villiage. The air remained still, even with my footsteps. It was a trully peaceful town. A few more steps and..."Oy, you!" I turned around. Two guards were running up to me, looking pretty grumpy with a night's patrol. "What are you doing at this time? Do you realize how late it is?" The first guard said, glaring at me suspiciously.

"My appologies sir, I was simply passing through. I hope it isn't an inconvenience." I replied, looking into the guard's eyes, showing no fault or sign of mischief as he bore down at me with his eyes, red lines visable in the white of them from lack of sleep.

"There's been trouble with a gang here recently. How do I know you're not one of the members sneaking in to cause trouble?" The first guard said, stepping closer to me.

"I honestly didn't mean to cause any suspicion, sir. If you could see me to the..."

"The only place we're taking you, is to the cheif. He wants to see all newcomers." The second guard replied as I sighed, shaking my head. I really didn't feel like going to see anyone, especially not a chief.

"Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't cooperate with you." I said, shaking my head apologetically. I ducked under the guard's reaching arms, jumping up onto his shoulders before leaping, spinning forward. I landed on my feet in a crouch, my feet propelling me off the ground as I rushed into a sprint. Shouting and the loud thud of footsteps alerted me to the fact that I was being chased by the pair. This was the worst time to get myself into trouble. All I wanted to do was get through the villiage without being noticed. Was that too much for a neko to ask for?

A quick glance out of the corner of my eye had me ducking through the shadows, springing behind a crate, gasping silently for breath. The guards ran past, oblivious to my escape. I was safe, for the moment at least. I couldn't go out again, though. Not in this form. I sighed, shaking my head. I had no other option. I closed my eyes, letting out another, smaller sigh as I changed my form. Myhair grew, reaching down to my knees as my shoulders shrank by a few inches. My chest got heavier as it surged out, filling out my shirt, and my whole figure got slimmer, shrinking to accomodate my new form. This was one of my special abilities that I mentioned earlier. The ability to gender shift. Some might say that it's a worthless ability to have, but they don't know the upsides. Like now for example. Here I was using it to fool the guards should they come across me again. They would be looking for a guy. In addition, my abilities changed as well, and I don't mean just physically either. In male form, I had more upper body strength, and using water elements. In female form however, I specialized in the wind element. I was also faster, more flexible, better balanced, and as a bonus, my clothes reacted to my transformation. The pants turned into shorts to make running easier for me, my white shirt that I wore under my tunic turned into a bra that supported my breasts and my tunic, well, that stayed the same.

"Ok, time for round two," I said to myself. My voice was noticeably higher in pitch than my male voice. I stood up and leapt over the crate, but before I landed I felt a sharp, quick pain in my back. Darkness covered my vision as I fell to the floor, faint laughter echoing in my ears.

"What?! Are you serious? This neko can really....?"

"Yeah, I saw it myself! turned into a girl right before my eyes!"

"We could make a killing off it! An ability like that isn't common! What d'you say boys? Shall we tame it?"

A bunch of cheering and whistling sounded. I wanted to move, but my limbs were bound and I was too afraid to open my eyes. I knew what was happening. I was a captive, most likely of the gang the guard had spoken of.

I opened my eyes, regretfully. I was on the ground, facing a bunch of men. Their eyes were trained on me eagerly.

"It's awake!" One of them shouted, pointing at me. Before any of them could so much as say another word, the ground shook for a split second. The mens' eyes searched frantically, confused. It shook again. And again. Each time, it grew louder and louder until a neko giantess could be seen, stopping right in front of them. She had a school outfit on; I figured that meant she was a school girl. The gang members weren't paying attention to the uniform however. Their eyes were staring right up her skirt.

"This looks like a good place to rest," The giantess said, turning around and leaning towards us. Her rear end cast a shadow on the whole camp of gang members and myself.

"Run for it!" The leader shouted, but before anyone could make so much as one step, the giantess sat down with a loud BOOM! and we were all crushed and smothered underneath the giantess neko. From the sound of the crunching, I had to say that I was one of the few that survived, and most likely because I was laying down. I squirmed as much as I could underneath her. She must've felt it, because she stood up again to look down at me and whoever else was left alive.

"What have we here?" She asked, picking me and whoever still lived up to look at us. She quickly released my bindings with one claw. She held me up in a differnt hand than the gang members, two fingers clutching at the back of my shirt. "Who are you?" She asked.

"I-I'm Niiko. I was captured by this gang that you err..." I glanced dow at the ruined camp, than back at the few who survived, namely the leader and two of his men.

"I see." The neko girl replied as her stomach growled. Her eyes shifted to the gang members who cowered at her gaze. "Well, I am hungry, and they do look good, so..." She tossed them all in the air opening her mouth. They landed on her tongue as she snapped her mouth shut, purring and swallowing. A bulge travelled slowly down her throat indicating where they were all the way to the collar bone where they disappeared from sight, faintly screaming all the while.

She then turned back towards me. Her gaze was soft and I could sense kindness from her. "Well, how'd you like to be my little pet?" She asked with a smile.

"W-well, you did just save me, so I guess it couldn't hurt to call you my master." I said, feeling as if this was actually natural, "But there's something You need to know about me. I'm able to change my gender at will."

She stared at me blankly, which was actually sort of expected. I decided showing her would be best. My shoulders got a little broader, though not by much. My breasts shrank back to being flat. My hair faded back to it's former length and my body and clothes were reverted back to what they had been before.

"Wow, so I get both a boy and girl pet in one!" The cat girl said, pleased. "My name's Kara by the way, Kara Zastel. What's yours?"

"Niiko." I replied a bit shocked, "Y-you're not surprised at what I just did?" To my surprise, Kara simply shrugged. "I've seen more stuff than that." She said, yawning. "It's time for sleep now, my little pet. Good night." She then put me between her breasts and layed down for the night, purring and falling asleep moments later. And that's how I became the pet of the giant neko girl, Kara Zastel.
