Yeah, nice sense of vertical cathedral-like structure.

Those are the correct params. Try lowering the DE Stop value from 1 to 4.

Ah, that was it - it was set on 16, lowered it to 4 and the detail appeared. That setting is part of the parameters isn't it?
I read the help text for DE Stop: raymarching, undersampling, so much to learn...
