Description
Updated : now rendered at 8x the resolution to have a better antialiasing once scaled down and remove all the little aliased white reflection dots. (Some small details changed a bit as I forgot to change the fractal resolution according to the render size change but it's still goodMandelbulber • Download in 1920x1200

So, so cool.

Wow I thought this was a legit factory or something from the thumb. Its realisation is stupendously good.

Thanks! I'm trying to find a solution for this but it is already in antialias2x2 (and some despeckle filter change the render too much), I guess I'll have to render it at 4 or 8 times the resolution and resize it down...

The spots are created by the reflection so I'm not sure the engine settings will change this - I'm currently rendering at 8x 1920x1200 to see what's happening - only 6 hours to render (on a pretty fast 6*dual core PC with 32GB RAM )

Protip: When calculating refelections, i alway set the Depth colors to black (under the ambient tab) This totally decreases noise

(this is with Mandelbulber and not Mandelbulb3D, so the settings are a bit lighter - I have no such control. Yet the HD render is really nice, I'll upload it to replace this one asap)

This fantastic! I love the color, lighting and sense of depth and scale. It looks enormous with lots of interesting places to explore.
