Description
In addition to the _AmazingBox, _reciprocalX, and MengerIFS formulas, the parameter for this image also utilizes the _AbsX formula, which is one of several new formulas shared earlier today by LucaGN. I can't wait to utilize the others. Thank you so much Luca. [link]This was created in Mandelbulb 3D 1.6.9.1 with minor touchup in Photoshop PS5.
Thank you very much for all who fav, comment on or collect this and any of my other images. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Yes, that is what I thought. But that was actually achieved with the addition of your _AbsX formula. At first I could not see that it did anything until I put it in front of the _MengerIFS formula. I ended up tweaking the fixX value to 0.1. The other interesting thing is that it only gave the Sierpinski look to every other layer - notice the layer above (the ceiling tiles so to speak) is flat while way above that is the Sierpinski look again.
Thanks Luca for your comments and again for sharing you formulas!!!

AbsX with fix=0 is the equivalent of a FoldingOct but ONLY for x axis, when FoldingOct is AbsX,AbsY,AbsZ
