So,, this is the first time I've ever like participated in any contest ever, on deviantart, I think. I participated in Isykol 's mate contest YEARS back, when we became boyfriend and girlfriend so idk if that counts lmao.

oof. Anyways! If you download you can look at all the tiny details i put in there, stuff like the coloring of the drips of blood and the blood in between the feathers, the gash in Rune's neck, Mink's eye spots, etc. A bunch of little stuff my eyes are hurting.

I also created an alternate version for this! You can see it here, . This version is a bit less busy without the fire so? I also just couldn't decide which one I liked more lmao, so it's up to Maddi herself! I think that the alternate might be better because you can still read the text easy but I also still adore this one with the fire,, I just jfhsdghjkvdnfjkfnshk, oof

I started this like a week ago and holy jesus I couldn't get the right image out of my head and onto my tablet, help
I know the wings are supposed to be smaller, but I lowkey love drawing feathers and I wanted to give the wings a more broken wiry look to make them seem like they were just completely decimated from a young age, er, something. I hope that's okay lmao
