Description
I took a different approach this time. I like it a lot better now.EDIT: The image is blurry, but if I click "Download" it's crisp. Hmm...
EDIT 2: The icon files (PNG) & source SVGs are now available to download at GNOME-Look [link]

Hi daj!
I love this icon. I used it in an internal mockup I made for work. I hope you don't mind
I've posted it on dA here.
Thanks for making this excellent icon!

Any plans to make this available elsewhere. It looks great, but I haven't been able to connect to GNOME-Look for a little while.

HAH, beautiful. Faving this. I once tried to do a similar high resolution icon or rather a logo for my band. I wanted a cat chewing on a jack cable. (Because the band is called 'The Cat Ate The Wires' It didn't come anything. Looked more like a hamster xD .

Yeah, Inkscape!
Very nice. Some bugs and memory problems, though. Exporting also sometimes take more than 5 minutes if I have lots of blurred paths.
But it is still the best free vector program I know.
Anyhow, I've tried Adobe Illustrator when I was at school. The user interface is better but I haven't been able to grab my hands on the new version. Anyone has been trying to compare the two?
Btw, this one looks much better AJ.

It's been a few years, but when I was in high school I did a co-op semester at print shop/graphic design place. I had to use AI for a couple of things and while it was definitely faster than Inkscape in terms of rendering & UI response, I found the tools and workflow much more convoluted. Usually after a few days of using a program I can get used to all the main functions but not with Illustrator - I think I ended up working with Inkscape and then just tweaking it in AI for printing.
But like I said that was years ago and I didn't compare the two in-depth. A lot has probably changed since then.
Thanks for the comment

Thanks. Yes, Inkscape is my weapon of choice. By far the best vector editor I've ever used (even though complex images slow it down).
